All Donations of any amount are gratefully received. Our initial target is to raise £50,000 towards the ongoing overhaul of N Class 31874. Once this has been paid for, the fund will subsequently be used to return 31625 to steam and to overhaul 31806 when the time comes. In the future the fund may also be used to purchase the additional equipment needed for the locos to become main line certified.
In the extremely unlikely event that the amount raised exceeds the amount required to overhaul, equip and maintain the locos. The trustees of the Swanage Railway Trust will reallocate the surplus to another project on the Swanage Railway.
