- Entrants into the Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions
- The starting date is 15th October 2015 and the closing Date is the 29 November 2015
- The Draw will be made the day after the closing date.
- To qualify for entry you must join the Swanage Moguls Fund E-Mailing list providing their Name and a valid e-mail address after 17:00 GMT on the starting date and before midnight GMT on the closing date. No purchase or donation is necessary.
- The following people are not eligible to be entered in to the draw. Staff and Volunteers of Swanage Railway, People already on the e-mail list, people under the age of 16.
- By submitting your personal information you agree to receive emails from the Swanage Railway Trust containing information that we think may interest you.
- The winner will be notified by email on or before 10 December 2015 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to The Swanage Railway Trust within 14 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and The Swanage Railway Trust shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize).
- If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and The Swanage Railway Trust shall be entitled to select another winner.
- The winner consents to the use by Swanage Railway for an unlimited time, of the winner’s image, photograph and name for publicity purposes in any medium without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
- One winner will be chosen at random from entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- There is only one prize. A free footplate Ride for a minimum of 1 round trip on the Swanage Railway starting and Finishing at Swanage Station. The prize is non-exchangeable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The winner may transfer the prize to a named third party if they wish. Footplate rides are subject to loco availability and must be prearranged with Swanage Railway passenger services dep. The Footplate Ride must be used within 12 Months of the closing date. We cannot guarantee that the ride will be on a particular locomotive.
- Riders must be over 16 years old and in good physical health. No responsibility can be taken for unforeseen loco availability issues. Swanage Railway Co Ltd. may apply other conditions to the foot plate ride.
- The Swanage Railway Trust accepts no responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by The Swanage Railway Trust.
- The Swanage Railway Trust reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of The Swanage Railway Trust in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Swanage Railway Trust shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
